The Tale of Barder - Short Story 15 Minute Prompt

Twists and turns snores and heavy breathing. The kid with the orange turban was deep in slumber. His face gestures seeming that he was in a tough situation in his dream. It was deep in the woods, where not only ogres and gremlins existed but there were air breathing marine animals and marsupials who could speak! Deeper in the jungle lies a treasure chest where it is guarded by an enchanted twenty foot ogre. In the shadows behind a big rock which the ogre was leaning against was a dog named Barder who had been injured by the ferocious beast. He looks left and right, waiting for this one person, a person who holds insignificantly huge amounts of power. He was waiting for the kid in the orange turban named Topher. Then the ogre stands and then looks behind the trees that was in front of him and noticed a small figure with a colorful hat bestowed upon a child’s head. The ogre slashes at the trees and the child comes rolling out and runs under the hulk looking beast and approaches Barder and healed him immediately as Topher chanted the words: “I imagine Barder to be completely healed.”

Barder suddenly started to glow with a white radiance that was so blinding that it made the ogre fall backwards and twisted left and right to get back onto its feet. Then as the light started to dim down, Topher immediately chanted the words again: “I imagine Barder to soar through the air.” Then a swoosh of air clearly communicated to the ogres ears and then a flock of hair fell to the floor. The ogre became bald! Barder and Topher were eye to eye with the twenty foot ogre and then the ogre swung his arm, but Barder was way too fast where the arm that was the ogres plopped off as if it was an action figures arm. The ogre was terrified as if he saw GOD. The ogre ran as fast as he could, vanishing into the woods. Then Barder, slowly put Topher down onto the ground and they both started to do a dance which was their VICTORY DANCE, as they both twirled and shuffled their feet, with their hands waving in the air they both turned their attention to the treasure chest. Topher opened the treasure chest and found gold, a type of gold that has a greater value than any diamond or gold brick. CHOCOLATE! As both Barder and Topher ate the scrumptious gold, they hid the rest into their fort and Topher bid Barder good bye and Topher awoke the next day to go to school. Topher fidgeting in class, excited to hurry and get home so he can have another adventurous dream with his favorite partner and friend Barder.
